Lent Course - Our existing small groups and new Lent groups will be working through a Lent Course entitled: ‘When I survey ... Christ’s Cross and Ours’ this term. It is a York Course and features audio input from promi-nent Christian leaders in the public arena. If you would like to join a group specifically to do the course, please speak to Martin Pritchard on tel: 321454.
Biscuits for Sport Relief – Home-made biscuits (made by Julie Bryant & grandson Sam) will be available after the morning service at Devon Road next Sunday (7th) in exchange for a donation to Sport Relief!
A Supper & Skittles Evening – will now take place on Friday 16 April at The Bickerton Poacher, near Malpas/Bulkeley, starting at 7.30pm (meal at 8.30pm). Please get the date in your diaries. Further details, includ-ing menu choices, available nearer

Mothering Sunday Flowers– Many hands would be appreciated
a week on Saturday (13th) at 10am in
the hall to prepare small bunches of flowers for the next day’s service. Please come if you can – thank you!
The Women’s World Day of Prayer – will be celebrated locally on Fri 5 March at 10.30am at Christ Church, Newtown, prepared by Christian women in Cameroon. The theme of the service will be ‘Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!’ and the speaker will be Avril Baxter. All welcome (regardless of age or gender!)
Christian Aid – Lenten Lunches for Christian Aid will be served on Wednesdays in Lent (3-24 March) 12-1:30pm at the Welsh Presbyterian Church, St John’s Street. All welcome.
Chester Bible Focus – next meets at All Saints, Hoole on Tues 9, Wed 10, Thurs 11 March at 7:30pm. Rev Ian Parkinson of All Saints, Marple and leader of New Wine North will speak on ‘Kingdom Come’, a series of studies from Mark 1.
An Evening of Music by The King’s School – will take place at St Werburgh’s Church, Grosvenor Park Road, on Friday 19 March at 7.00pm, in aid of the chapel refurbishment at Chester Catholic High School.
